Verztec introduces online translation service for multiple Asian languages
Verztec has recently launched an online translation service for multiple Asian languages – SwiftTranslate which generates an instant quotation and allocates translators for each job accordingly. Verztec is the first company in Asia that is providing such a service for various Asian languages. With an existing website, the mobile application version of SwiftTranslate is currently developing and will start running in a few months.

Independent market research firm Common Sense Advisory (CSA Research) announced Verztec official ranking as one of the largest language services providers (LSPs) in the translation and interpreting industry. Issued July 2016 by CSA Research, the report titled “The Language Services Market: 2016” ranked Verztec Consulting as a top-grossing language service provider in the US$40.27 billion global market for outsourced language services and technology. Verztec opens new office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
On 25 August 2014, Verztec officially opens a new office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The new office furthers Verztec’s commitment in serving customers better as a full-service consulting firm across the region with our 3-Pillar suite of service offerings – Communicate, Educate, and Publish.
The joyful occasion was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony, champagne popping and a sumptuous buffet lunch. Verztec supports LCSS Run for Life 2014 as Gold Partner for the second consecutive year
As Gold Partner of Run for Life for the second consecutive year, Verztec made a cash donation of $30,000 in contribution to Life Community Services Society (LCSS) programs which benefit over 950 youth-at-risks as well as disadvantaged children, whose parent(s) is/are incarcerated.
The Verztec Team turned up early on the Saturday morning of 19 July 2014 at East Coast Park to support the event as runners and volunteers, joining a crowd of over 3,800 like-minded participants.
Run for Life 2014 was a great success with Guest-of-Honor Mr Seah Kian Peng and Special Guest – Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong gracing the event.

Verztec made a cash donation of $30,000 as Gold Partner for the inaugural Run for LIFE 2013 charity fundraising run event organized by Life Community Services Society.
Life Community Services Society (LCSS), an adopted charity partner of Verztec, organized her inaugural charity fundraising run – Run for LIFE, with the hope of raising $400,000 to defray the costs of four programmes which reach out to more than 950 disadvantaged children and at-risks youths whose parent(s) is/are incarcerated.
Verztec’s Management and Staff spent the Saturday morning of 8 June 2013 at East Coast Park and volunteered for various roles in the event while a handful participated as runners in both 10km Adults Competitive and 3.8km Family Fun run, supporting the good cause cheerfully.

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) compliments Verztec for a job well done

Verztec reprises its role as the official translation partner of GES 2011
Following the success of last year’s collaboration, Verztec was once again named the official translation partner of GES 2011.
Held from 17-20th October at Resorts World Sentosa, GES 2011 drew over 600 delegates around the region, including influential senior executives, entrepreneurs and high net-worth individuals. Renowned international speakers kick started the discussion on global trends, growth strategies and innovation.

The Verztec team took part in the Yellow Ribbon Run held on 18th September, for the second year running. It was a fulfilling activity that reminded society of the difficulties ex-offenders face in re-integration and the pressing need to support them in their new journey.

Verztec supports a new beginning for ex-offenders
On the 5th of September, staff of Verztec Singapore participated in the Yellow Ribbon Run ’10. This nation-wide event raised funds and awareness to help ex-offenders re-integrate into society. The race route included many significant landmarks such as the Johore Battery, and eventually concluded at the Changi Prison Complex. Despite the pouring rain, the Verztec team completed the race in high spirits, determined to show their support for ex-offenders!

Verztec offices dedicate their time to various community initiatives
The Verztec team in London is working closely with the Medical Foundation to raise funds for the care of victims of torture. For the months of August and September, Verztec UK will donate a portion of the proceeds for each project they undertake to the Medical Foundation.
The UK team also attended a garden party held on the 26th of June in conjunction with the UN International Day for Victims of Torture. The event raised awareness for torture victims and gave support to the survivors.

On the 21st of August, the Verztec Singapore team brought children from the Life Community Services Society (LCSS) on a fun-filled outing at Snow City. LCSS provides various forms of support to children and youths whose parents are incarcerated.
Staff from Verztec played buddies to the children and everyone had a great time in the winter wonderland, playing in the snow chamber and sampling ice-cream in an ice-cream making session.

Over at Thailand, the Verztec team gave out 100 large parasols to street vendors in Silom and the surrounding areas. With the shade and shelter provided, these street vendors can now go about their daily activities without worrying about business interruptions due to the weather.

On the 4th of February, Verztec took part in the Charity Bowl and Canon SuperSeries corporate bowling tournament held at SuperBowl Safra Mount Faber.
The Charity Bowl was a prelude to the corporate bowling competition. Jointly organized by Canon Singapore and the Singapore Bowling Federation, $138,000 was raised for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and Singapore Bowling’s community project – BOWLinks. Launch of new Bangkok Office Marks Continual Growth for Verztec
Despite the global recession, Verztec marks one of its growth milestones on 26 March 2009, as it officially opened an office in Bangkok, Thailand. Verztec’s Bangkok office is located in the Empire Tower at Sathorn District – the Prime Financial District of Bangkok.
Over 100 guests from various companies including L’Oreal, Centre Point and SAMART attended to celebrate the official opening of Verztec Thailand.
