Nicholas Goh
Founder And Group CEO
Nicholas founded Verztec in the year 2000, building the company from a three person team to the international organization it is today.
Nicholas works closely with the Verztec team globally in helping customers set and meet their multilingual communication technology goals. Together, they introduce current and prospective customers to the breadth of Verztec service offerings. Prior to setting up Verztec, Nicholas held technical and management positions at several multinational corporations as well as offered IT and Business consultancy on an external basis.
Nicholas holds an Honors Degree in Computing with Management from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, and has a strong passion in cultures and foreign languages as well as technology.
Nicholas has led Verztec to achieve a number of corporate awards. Nicholas was presented the Spirit of Enterprise Award in 2010, Asia-Pacific Entrepreneurship Award under the Outstanding Category as well as The Entrepreneur of the Year (EYA) in 2014 under the Established Entrepreneur Category with Special Merits for Social Contribution.
Nicholas currently serves as Chairman of Life Community Services Society (LCSS), Board Member of Sim Lim Tower Committee, Finance Committee Member of the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Center (NVPC), Council Member of WAF (Workforce Advancement Federation) and Board Member of Global Cultural Alliance (GCA).
Past Appointments held by Nicholas include Board of Governor & Vice President of Spirit of Enterprise (2010-2015), Chairman of SEP for Spirit of Enterprise, Board Member of ASME Singapore Prestige Brand Award Organizing Committee (2015), Board Member of IYAE (International Young Artist Exchange).
Jenny Woon
Chief Operating Officer
Jenny oversees all Verztec offices in the area of finance, human resource and operational functions. She also heads the ISO steering committee in Verztec to ensure that all processes and quality policies conform to ISO 9001:2015 standards. In addition, she and her team have implemented various technologies in the company to ensure that workflow processes are seamless, efficient and data is easily retrievable and archived.
Jenny has worked in several International technology corporations as a Consultant prior to joining Verztec, and has many years of localization project management experience.
Jenny holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing from the National University of Singapore.
Irene Pounder
Senior Operations Manager
Irene administers and ensures human resource policies are adhered to in Verztec. As Verztec is a quality-centric organization, Irene is tasked with the important role of ensuring that the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard procedures are effectively carried out in all departments.
Prior to joining Verztec, Irene has worked in global sourcing, alongside a Norwegian company’s Global Sourcing Director. As a team effort, she is proudest of having helped the company achieve cost savings in the region of USD5 million annually. Irene’s years of experience in many international corporations have been beneficial in aiding her understanding of how different cultures and backgrounds influence the way people work.
Irene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from the Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia.
E-Lynn Tan
Director, Project Management
E-Lynn is the Assistant Director of the Verztec project management team. She inspires her team to deliver impeccable service and projects of consistently good quality.
Her in-depth understanding of project management procedures sees her working closely with the senior management team to implement processes to dramatically improve overall team efficiency and the quality of deliverables.
E-Lynn is also responsible for overall quality assurance of projects and ensuring that communications with clients are kept transparent and effective at all times.
She holds a Degree in Computing (Business) from the National University of Singapore.
Karen Bunger
Vice President, Localization and Client Account Management, USA
Karen is responsible for project management, business development, and customer relations in the USA.
Karen is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in both the localization and e-learning industries. As a project director, she is responsible for project team management, service delivery, and administration for a variety of clients. For assigned projects, she is the primary client contact and is responsible for delivering a high quality project on time and within budget. Karen works closely with customers and prospects to identify their specific localization needs and industry goals.
Jae Ahn
Senior Strategic Advisor, USA
Jae is a senior advisor and consultant for strategic business development. He has over 25 years experience in the finance industry and global capital markets, including research, principal investments, marketing, develop business strategy and management.
His career in the US and Asia spanned with BNY Mellon Bank, Moody’s Investors Service, Credit Suisse, Barclays Capital, and later consulted for as well as founded start-ups in financial advisory and investment management.
Jae is a graduate of George Washington University and holds a Master’s Degree from University of Pennsylvania. Jae is currently based in New York, USA.
Noriko Fujimori
Senior Strategic Director, Japan
Noriko Fujimori is responsible for client relations and project management for Verztec in Tokyo, Japan. She has more than 24 years of experience as a professional translator and proofreader. In addition, she has been managing many large localization projects as the project leader.
She started her career as the first woman sales and marketing rep at the Nippon Steel and Lockheed joint venture company in Japan right after the law called Equal Opportunity and Treatment between Men and Women in Employment was enforced in Japan.
Noriko spent 8 years in the United States and attended both the Ferris Women's University and the University of Utah. She studied English Literature and Chemistry there, and she has B.S., majored in Organic Chemistry from the University of Utah.
Pakaraparn Nakyam
General Manager, Thailand
Pakaraparn or ‘Patty’ as she is more commonly addressed, oversees operations of the Verztec Thailand office in Bangkok. Assuming a supervisory role in the Bangkok office, Patty takes charge of Human Resource functions such as staff recruitment and finance. She is also instrumental in working alongside with the technology team at the headquarters for the improvement and implementation of quality assurance processes carried out by the IT Team in Thailand.
Patty has worked in several German multinational corporations such as Siemens and VA Tech Transmission Line Co.Ltd.
Patty holds an Honors Degree in Arts, majoring in German from Silapakorn University, Thailand.
Oraphan Phuanpathom
Business Development Director, Thailand
Oraphan, more commonly known as ‘Meow’, spearheads the business development division in Thailand.
With her past experience working in Sanyo Semiconductor, Newly Weds Food and Witwood Food Products, Meow has well-proven her excellent foresight in identifying businesses with great potential, acquiring new clients and maintaining partnerships.
Sincere and passionate in building rapport with her clientele, Meow has major accounts with the likes of Honda Automobile (Thailand) Ltd., Central Department Store Government Saving Bank, Krungsri Ayutthaya Bank, and BEC Tero Entertainment PCL under her belt.
Meow holds a Master’s Degree in Language and Communication, majoring in English from National Institute of Development Administration Arts. She also holds a Degree in Law from Sukhothai Thamathirat Open University.
Tran Tran
Deputy General Manager, Vietnam
Tran Tran oversees operations of the Verztec Vietnam office in Ho Chi Minh city. She is taking responsible for all functions : sales, human resource, administration, and project management. Relating that she works side by side with Singapore team to conduct as well as control quality of projects which are done by Vietnam team to adapt with ISO 9001: 2015 standards.
She holds two Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Economic Law. Prior to become a Verztec’s member, she worked for U& I Auditing Company and AFE Solutions – a international technology company.
Tran Tran and her team ensure that their development will be a inseparable part of Verztec and they are growing with Verztec.
Theresia Hosianna
Operations Director, Indonesia
Theresia oversees operations of the Verztec Indonesia office in Jakarta. Undertaking a supervisory role, Theresia is in charge of providing leadership for Verztec Indonesia’s overall operations, which involves managing human resource, finance, business development, customer relations, and sales and marketing functions. She works closely with the senior management team based at Verztec’s headquarters in Singapore, to ensure all functions are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective manner, and in line with Verztec’s values, mission and vision.
Prior to joining Verztec, Theresia has gained extensive experience in the Operations field while working for PT Bulk Commodities Indonesia - the pioneer of coal mining and trading in Indonesia. She has developed strong management skills related to employment, ethical standards, teamwork collaboration, negotiations, conflict handling, strategic planning and budgeting, as well as developing and motivating employee to higher levels of performance.
Theresia graduated in Economics from the University of Indonesia.
