The Housing and Development Board (HDB) compliments Verztec for a job well done
The Housing and Development Board (HDB), Singapore’s public housing authority and a statutory board under the Ministry of National Development, has appointed Verztec for a localization project. Verztec provided skilled translations and professional voice-over services for an IPAD Presentation to facilitate HDB’s on-site residential briefing of the safety measures put in place.
Despite the short timeline provided, Verztec professionally localized and delivered the output of 9 local languages and dialects, namely - English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil, Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Hakka and Hainanese. Verztec was awarded a letter of compliment for the good service provided.

Verztec participates in the Run & Raisin’ 2012 charity run
The Verztec team showed their utmost support in raising funds for the less privileged children and families in Singapore by participating in the Run & Raisin’ 2012 charity run organized by TOUCH Young Arrows. The collected funds are channeled to sustain the financial needs of the children from low-income families, single-parent families, and dysfunctional families.
Verztec team is pleased to play a part in nurturing the young towards a comprehensive learning journey and diminishes the financial strain of the less privileged families.

Verztec is proud to be a partner of the Tune BIG Loyalty Program
The world’s best low-cost airline, AirAsia, and Tune Money, the financial services arm of the Tune Group of companies, have collaborated to launch an innovative global loyalty program that allows members to earn points when travelling and shopping with its partners worldwide in order to redeem the accumulated points for exciting rewards including AirAsia seats.
The BIG loyalty program is managed and operated by Think Big Digital Sdn. Bhd., a 50:50 joint venture between AirAsia and Tune Money. As a global loyalty program, BIG membership is borderless and open to anyone aged 2 and above anywhere in the world. Each member, nicknamed ‘BIG Shot’, is issued with a BIG card carrying the cardholder’s name and membership identification number, or BIG Shot ID. BIG enables members to earn loyalty points called ‘BIGGIES’ when travelling and shopping with program partners.

Verztec offers students a glimpse into the world of business
A group of Methodist Girls’ School students had their first taste of the corporate world at Verztec. They visited the Verztec headquarters in Singapore as part of their Learning Journeys Programme.
Verztec’s CEO – Mr Nicholas Goh and other fellow colleagues took turns to talk about what inspires them on a personal basis for the work they do, the challenges at the workplace and what values are important in today’s corporate world.

Verztec reprises its role as the official translation partner of GES 2011
Following the success of last year’s collaboration, Verztec was once again named the official translation partner of GES 2011.
Held from 17-20th October at Resorts World Sentosa, GES 2011 drew over 600 delegates around the region, including influential senior executives, entrepreneurs and high net-worth individuals. Renowned international speakers kick started the discussion on global trends, growth strategies and innovation.
Verztec further facilitated the exchange of ideas through bridging language gaps and making the foreign delegates feel at ease. With the strong synergy felt, Verztec hopes to continue this partnership again next year.
