Verztec extends multilingual and multimedia development expertise into Global Learning
Verztec’s L&D (Learning and Development) Solutions division has developed a comprehensive library of Blended Learning courses that focuses on business performance and soft skills training to cater to the demands of today’s businesses.
The Blended Learning courses are delivered with a combination of E-Learning to fit into the schedules of busy individuals of today and are combined with follow-up instructor-led workshops to be delivered in the countries and the preferred languages of the learners.

Verztec’s CEO lauded for his entrepreneurship
Verztec’s CEO, Mr Nicholas Goh is proud to be one of the honorees of the Spirit of Enterprise (SOE) Awards 2010. On the 15th of November, 30 honourees of the Spirit of Enterprise 2010 were honoured at a gala dinner held at the Grand Hyatt.
Determined by the SOE Board of Governors as well as votes by the public, the honourees were chosen for demonstrating outstanding entrepreneurship.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and valuable votes that made achieving this prestigious award possible. Verztec will continue working hard towards more achievements in 2011.

Verztec bags the Singapore Prestige Brand Award 2010
We are pleased to announce that Verztec is one of the proud winners of the Promising Brands Award, one of the five award categories in the Singapore Prestige Brand Award (SPBA) '10. SPBA is jointly organised by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and Lianhe Zaobao and was established to recognise deserving Singapore brands that have been developed and managed effectively through various branding initiatives.

Verztec supports a new beginning for ex-offenders
On the 5th of September, staff of Verztec Singapore participated in the Yellow Ribbon Run ’10. This nation-wide event raised funds and awareness to help ex-offenders re-integrate into society. The race route included many significant landmarks such as the Johore Battery, and eventually concluded at the Changi Prison Complex. Despite the pouring rain, the Verztec team completed the race in high spirits, determined to show their support for ex-offenders!

Verztec offices dedicate their time to various community initiatives
The Verztec team in London is working closely with the Medical Foundation to raise funds for the care of victims of torture. For the months of August and September, Verztec UK will donate a portion of the proceeds for each project they undertake to the Medical Foundation.
The UK team also attended a garden party held on the 26th of June in conjunction with the UN International Day for Victims of Torture. The event raised awareness for torture victims and gave support to the survivors.

On the 21st of August, the Verztec Singapore team brought children from the Life Community Services Society (LCSS) on a fun-filled outing at Snow City. LCSS provides various forms of support to children and youths whose parents are incarcerated.
Staff from Verztec played buddies to the children and everyone had a great time in the winter wonderland, playing in the snow chamber and sampling ice-cream in an ice-cream making session.

Over at Thailand, the Verztec team gave out 100 large parasols to street vendors in Silom and the surrounding areas. With the shade and shelter provided, these street vendors can now go about their daily activities without worrying about business interruptions due to the weather.

Verztec announces its latest collaboration with Invensys

Eaton Corporation awards video localisation project to Verztec
Eaton Corporation, a Fortune 500 power management company, recently awarded Verztec with the localisation of several customer service training videos from English to Spanish, French and German. The video localisation process involves full translation of the scripts, multilingual voice-overs and voice-acting in three languages, integration and synchronisation of voice-overs in the videos. On-screen texts have also been added to emphasise important points. The well-localised videos help Eaton to better educate staff globally in customer service excellence.
